甘利備前守虎泰
- ？~天文17年(1548)2月14日
- 甘利氏は甲斐源氏の一族で、虎泰は信虎の代から重臣として活躍し、板垣信方とともに武田家臣団の筆頭の立場にあった。天文16年(1547)佐久郡志賀城攻めの際には、上野国から志賀城援軍として来攻した関東管領上杉憲政の軍勢を撃破するなど活躍した。翌年村上氏との上田原の合戦で奮闘するが、戦死した。

- The Amari clan was another line of the Kai Genji clan. A chief retainer to Nobutora, Torayasu shared a top position with Itagaki Nobukata amongst the Takeda vassals. During the 1547 assault on Shiga Castle in the Saku district, Torayasu defeated the reinforcements deployed from Kozuke to Shiga by Kanto lord Uesugi Norimasa. However, he died in combat against Murakami forces the next year during the Battle of Uedahara.
