穴山玄蕃頭信君
- 天文10年(1541)~天正10年(1582)6月2日
- 穴山氏は武田氏と婚姻関係を重ねた一族で、信君は信玄の娘を正室に迎えた。河内領(山梨県身延町から南部一帯)を支配し、今川氏との外交などを担っていた。長篠の戦い以後は、駿河江尻城代として駿河・遠江支配に尽力した。織田・徳川軍の甲斐侵攻に際しては、徳川家康に降伏し武田氏の再興を目指したが、本能寺の変の混乱に巻き込まれて死去した。
Anayama Nobutada, Genba-no-Kami
- Born 1541 ― Died June 2, 1582
- The Anayama clan was maritally intertwined with the Takeda clan, and Nobutada took Shingen's daughter as his wife. He was lord of the Kawauchi area of Kai Province (an area south of modern-day Minobu, Yamanashi), and diplomat to powers like the Imagawa clan. Following the Battle of Nagashino, he was given Ejiri Castle to protect, and devoted himself to managing the surrounding Suruga and Totomi provinces. When Oda-Tokugawa forces invaded Kai, he surrendered to Tokugawa Ieyasu in hopes of eventually restoring the Takeda clan, but he was killed in the crossfire during the Honno-ji Incident.
