原隼人佑昌胤
- ？~天正3年（1575）5月21日
- 侍大将だった父昌俊から家督を継承し、信玄の右腕として、領国経営を支えながら、軍事面でも活躍した。陣取りの名手であり、地理を見極める才能に恵まれ、駿河攻めの際は、退路を断たれた信玄のために道を切り開き、甲府へ退却させる功を挙げた。天正3年（1575）の長篠の戦いに参戦し、激戦の末に戦死した。
Hara Masatane, Hayato-no-Suke
- Born ? ― Died May 21, 1575
- Masatane succeeded his father Masatoshi, a military general, to become Shingen's right-hand man and an administrator of matters both military and domestic. With his keen eye for geography, he was a master of capturing positions, and during the attack on Suruga he secured an escape route for a trapped Shingen, allowing a retreat to Kofu. He died in 1575 during the intense combat of the Battle of Nagashino.
