内藤修理亮昌秀
- 大永3年（1523）？~天正3年（1575）5月21日
- 武田家の重臣工藤氏の出身であったが、信濃攻略等で活躍するなどその働きが認められ、名門の内藤家を継いだ。永禄9年(1566)頃までに信濃深志城代となり、上野国西部方面に勢力が拡大すると箕輪城代に抜擢され、上杉・北条両氏に備えた。天正3年(1575)の長篠の戦いで、奮戦したものの戦死した。
Naito Masahide, Shuri-no-Suke
- Born 1523 (?) ― Died May 21, 1575
- Masahide was born to the Kudo clan, chief retainers for the Takeda clan, but for his meritorious deeds during the conquering of Shinano, he was made head of the famed Naito clan. He was given Fukashi Castle in Shinano to manage by around 1566, but as pressure mounted from western Kozuke, he was picked to protect Minowa Castle, where he prepared for attacks from the Uesugi and Hojo clans. He died in combat in the 1575 Battle of Nagashino.
